Bellydance
I took a really fun bellydance class yesterday at a place out in the northeast called Farfesha Studios. (I think my teacher was the one in pink.) I had a coupon I got off of Groupon that cost me $19 and got me four 60 min classes, so I'll be doing this for the next few weeks at least. Isolations come pretty naturally for me, but coordination does not, so parts of the lesson were simple and parts were challenging. I like it when classes feel like that though, because then it's not so easy that I get bored, but not so hard that I want to walk away and never try again. They're having a party there on Saturday that I want to swing through, even though most of the patrons seem to be bored ladies in their 40s; I think seeing the dancers will inspire me. I'd done one or two of the dance inspired workouts from my earlier post that morning so for the rest of the afternoon all I wanted to do was dance. I want to be Rachel Brice someday.
